Science Resource Center

SRC Volunteer Duties:
  • Adult presence for students that are in SRC.
  • Getting teachers from the office for students.
  • Collecting money from students for copies they make.
  • Small task requests by the science teachers.
  • Answering phone and taking messages for teachers not at their desk.
Volunteers may park in the lot near the South Entrance, or it may be easier to park in Lot A (Staff spots are okay) and enter through the North Entrance.

The Science Resource Center is the quietest of the the five resource centers.
This resource center would be perfect for those that work from home, you can bring in your laptop and work from school!
SRC would also be great if you want some quiet time to read or knit, yet still engage with students.

We would like to keep the SRC fully open on Tuesday's & Thursday's!
The SRC morning shift is 7:45am - 11:15am, the afternoon shift is 11:10am - 2:35pm. (You can usually leave 5 minutes early to beat the buses and student vehicles leaving.)

If you are a new volunteer, feel free to sign up for shifts (we kindly request that you volunteer at least once a month), then email the Volunteer Coordinator so they can come in and train you. Thank you!
